An error does not become truth by reason of multiplied propogation nor does truth becomes error because nobody sees it.Truth stands, even if there be no public suppport. It is self sustained.

  4. Sir, Are the I regarding the holding of DE against police officer S of and below the rank of Inspectors in Maharashtra State , Home Department- 1982 still valid? As per order of MAT in OA 382/2006, M B Academy v/S The commissioner of Police, Mumbai. Sec.25 does not provide for procedure for conducting DE and lacuna or vacuum is filled by HD by issuing above instructions. The above instructions will have to be made applicable to PO of and below the rank of P.Inspectors.
Sir, an API was reduced to rank of PSI for one year. After working as PSI for few days, he reported sick and resumed duty after about more than two years. As per instruction no. 35 the order does not mention that period of reduction is exclusive of any period spent on leave before the period of reduction is completed. The authority does not wish to promote the PO to the rank of API stating that period of reduction is not complete. What is the remedy? Please guide in the matter. Thanks.
